Ok I am new to the whole brakish water thing and I was wondering how I eactly go about doing this. Right now now the GSP is in a 10 gallon and I just got a 20 - high. He is in freshwater right now but I would like to get him going in brakish water. What should I do? I would also like to buy a figure8 puffer. They are in the same tanks @ my lfs but is this alrite to do?

The 10 gallon only has a power filter and the 20 has a good undergravel filter with a good powerhead. I also have 2 filters but im not sure if they can both fit on the tank. One is a Marineland penguin 110 GPH and the other is a Second Nature Whisper and it filters 150 GPH.

Any help on this would be greatly appreciated for I am a n00b @ converting a FW puffer to BW...

Thanks

When converting a fish to brackish water the golden rule is do it slowly. Add 1/2 a teaspoon of salt per 2 1/2 gallons to the water once a week until you have it up to 2 teaspoons per 2 1/2 gallons, remember to add the salt back to any water changes at the level that is in the tank.

A 20g is not really big enough for the GSP so i wouldnt advise adding a second puffer to the tank as well.
