Now on to my actual question, lol.

I wondered if anyone knows where I can purchase tufa rock? I have been unable to find it so far.....

I would not use tufa rock. I would go for ocean rock which is denser and will displace more water but dosn't have the same problems tufa has. tufa can absorbe organics and phosphates etc and dump them back at a later date.

ahh interesting! One of my friends who has a 30g sw tank told me I should get some, and I thought I should have a second opinion. I don't think i wanna mess around with that stuff then. Thanks for the tip
