Here's the dog we adopted about a month ago. She's doing great so far and has turned out to be a really good girl

I was told that she was about 2-3 years old and a terrier pug mix, I see the pug in her curly tail  ,anybody else see striking resemblences to another breed?
I think (only think) that she might have some dachsund in her :dunno: :D

theres definitely pug in there!!!! i miss my pug. you can see the pug not only in the tail but also in the legs/feet. theres a little pug in the face but something else. i'd ahve to see her in person to really say, but its possible theres some beagle maybe. how tall is she at shoulder height? she has a similar head as our Sassy:

Awwwww....theyr'e both so cute! I definitely see Pug in Harley...maybe also some Black Lab???? That may be an off-the-wall guess, but she looks part Black Lab to me. :dunno: I'm seeing something else in her, but can't think of what right now. If I think of it, I'll let you know  No matter, really, if she's a good dog :)

labs actually a good guess. i've seen lab/pug mixes that were about knee high (literally halfway between a pug's height and a labs  )

Thanks you guys

M.A.M~ Sassy is too cute, and she has the same smile as Harley

I'm thinking she has black lab in there too, you can really see it in her face when her mouth is closed and she's just looking at ya. That's the only way I could describe her to anybody..."she looks like a black lab puppy"
I just never thought ya know... :hey: ...it was possible between a lab and a pug, I guess I thought pugs were smaller than they actually are -_-

She stands almost knee high, about 22" long head to tail and approx 20 pounds. Shes really the perfect size.Extremely active, she wants to roughhouse and play all the time and if she gets bored she begs for a walk, we just started walking her a couple of weeks ago and she loves it  ,but she's also content to just lay around when need be (such as NOW,it's too cold to go for a luxury walk  )

And as you can see by the first pic...Tuesday is a very "in your face" kind of girl and Harley tolerates that (touch wood). I'm so proud of her, she's my first adopted dog and from now on I'll recommend that everybody adopt

 Awww nothing is cuter than a little kid & the loved doggy.

Have you had any problems with Harley nipping? My cocker is giving us a run for the money in that department. She's only 6mons. so she's really only puppy nipping but the kids don't understand that & think she's biting them..She's stubborn as all get out but everything I read about the breed says they are a BIG dog in a small dog body. LOL

That was my biggest fear when getting a dog MM
My husband said "noooo get a puppy that way it will grow up with the kiddo and won't nip" but I knew better, I could see the future and the first time the puppy nipped, Tuesday would cry etc etc..

And thankfully...no, she doesn't nip. She's an older dog and I was told that she was brought to the pound with a litter of her puppies (they put the puppies down on her), she seems very good natured  But not such a softy that she's a push-over. Over the past month she has become VERY protective of the house and even if she's knocked out and asleep she'll still hop up barking if she hears a loud noise. I love that!

My husband works at night and comes in late, if I'm in bed when he comes in she'll run and jump on the bed when she hears the door opening, she'll sit there and growl until she knows for sure it's him

LOL@ a big dog in a small dog's body   , good luck with her! Your almost there, only..what..6 more months of nipping :kira:  :kana:

Awwwww wuv ... Harley is adorable...and Tuesday!! What a doll!!

I'm thinking that in addition to the pug, I think I may see spaniel.

Thanks Aqua & Michelle :D
Spaniel now too!! Maybe she's just a big mix, I figured her lines may be easy to trace because of that tail  ,whatever she is, she's the perfect size! not too little so that the kiddo wants to pick her up all the time and not so big that she's awkward and all over the place

wuv-both are just adorable! You are lucky that you got a good dog that doesn't nip...I am a bit worried about our cocker once the baby is born. Oh well, we will just have to see what happens.

aaaaww carrie , don't worry, surely she'll do fine, maybe she'll be kind of like Lady on Lady and the Tramp after the Darling's had their baby
