Truvu Aquasystem

Hi,

I came across the TRUVU Aquasystem website today and became quite interested in them. Has anyone had any experience with this set up? Though the website says they can be used for both fresh and salt, I was wondering if they actually are. Is the filter system worthy?

There isn't realy that much information available on the system in question, so I can't realy comment. The typical wet and dry filters aren't ideal for planted tanks though, as they drive off CO2. They are great for non planted freshwater though, as they allow extra gas exchange. The site does not state what types of media it is either supplied with or that can be fitted at a later date, so I cannont coment on its suitability for anything specific, but you won't be seeing any wet and dry filters on any of my planted tanks.
