true percula or black and white percula

I have read up on both and have seen that the black and white are quite hardy fish and have less temprament than the true percula's
Noticing the differences I might just go out and buy a large tank and convert it into a saltwater, Not with any reef or anemones. Just a fish only, that will make it cheaper. Which would you prefer, Black and whites are more expensive but in my mind are a better buy than the true perculas
