Troublesome Rena Filter

im having with my week old rena xp2........... its leaking from the handles and has been for a few days now i first noticed it friday night and i've been gone since then and mums been putting fresh towels down for me. the instructions say it needs to be no lower then 55 cm below the tank and no stress on the tubes and i've made sure of this any advice or could i have a faulty one

gd to return it when ur warranty is still good, its probably a shoddy equipment
