Trouble Feeding :(

so my betta has finally decided that he likes to eat flake foods nowadays which is good
trouble is when i try feed him some blood worm my other fish always get there before him as they a lot quicker than him and i was a bit worried that he will be going very hungry due to being out competed. is there anything i can do ?

What's he in with?

Generally Bettas are very slow eaters so housing them with greedy tank mates in't usually recommended

he's in with 9 espei's rasbora. i tried something different today and it seemed to work. i put some flake over one side of the tank so the espei's could get it and then fed my betta his bloodworm whilst he was waiting on the other side of the tank, it gave him enough time to get a good fill so i shall probably keep the feeding going like that
