Hi
I have a tropiquarium 88 but the lights have stopped working. We have replaced the 2 lights, the fuses, and the battery in the control/timer unit, and can't see any loose wires but still no joy.
I noticed you can buy new control units, is it worth doing this or is there anything we've missed. Any other suggestions for lighting the tank?
Thanks

possibly the relay or the switches in the timer unit ;)

I've repaired several timer units over the last year by just replacing the switches ;)

I used to offer it as an exchange service on Ebay, by sending out a working timer, and get the faulty one sent back for me to repair!

However, I have now ended up with 2 timers that I'm unable to repair!

If you're willing to be without your timer for about a week, you could send it to me for me to fix, and I can return it to you, for a small fee of about £10.

Drop me a PM if your interested.

Hi Andy,
I noticed you have experience repairing Tropiquarium timer units. I have a faulty one and am looking for a replacement or repair. The display is intermittently going on and off on its own. Is this something you can help me with.
