Well He is right about that 

Even in the philippines there are irresponsible fishkeepers who keep flowerhorns in 15 gallon tanks, who keep bettas in cups, who buy fish and have wrong tankmates.
 
But gladly for us there is a nationwide club on keeping fish

I think also it's always the bettas that get the 'mucky' end of the stick on this too, as they are put in the small cheaper tanks and attractive enough for little ones to "want want want"
Which is fine, but parents need to be responsible too and show them how to look after pets.

I'm looking forward to the day my little ones ask for their own tank

Furry pets do suffer too, particularly rabbits and guineas - they are outside, weather gets cold, nobody wants to spend five minutes ensuring they have hay/ straw/food or unfrozen water, so very selfish and sad

It would be great if the LFS sold robo fish, they would be just perfect for those to impatient to cycle the tank.

I went to the same store yesterday after my office, asked to speak with the manager, unfortunately he wasn't there but he should contact me today. I really want to know if really they sell fish even if they are sure that the fish would die..
