hello, and christmas greetings all

This is my first post in these forums, after reading almost none stop for two weeks, i am convinced you guys will be able to help me.
i am a lifetime goldfish owner (black moors) i am 22.

and for a couple of months now i have been researching tropical fish, ultimately aiming to start a small planted tank for 2 angel fish,

my lifetime goal hopefully will be (time and £££ permitting) to progress to dwarf puffers then to a reef

here lies the problem, the tank i have seen and pretty much got my heart set on, is the aqau qube 40, the same tank that was given away with practical fishkeeping magazine subscriptions, last month. for which i am to late to qualify,
I have been to all the lfs i can think of Henlow Koi, maidenhead, (wyvale) frosts, staples. pets world(or somthing similar, and yet cannot find it anywhere! i live in bedfordshire.

further more the only tanks of this kind i can find online are on ebay, and are priced at £47.50 + £8.95 postage. i am unaware of the rrp, but still this seems a little pricey!

So here goes, does anybody know where they are availiable?
1 locally
2 online
and what they are retailing for? and are they worth it ,plus if anybody knows of similar tanks i am all ears!
i have been inspired by the pfk planted example article on the tank in question.

thanks for reading!

kindest regards and hello to everybody.

Darren

Is it a small tank such as the PFK tank that is your priority?, or are the Angelfish the priority? If it's the angelfish, then i would be looking for a bigger tank anyway.

Cheers
Squid

I think the tank is made made by Aquadistri (give it a google). It will definitely be too small for Angelfish. You are going to have to choose which you want most, the fish or the tank.

There are lots of Nano tank journals on the Planted Aquarium Forum that will give you an idea of what is possible.

Thanks for that Squid,

perhaps i should be looking at another smaller type of fish then. as i already have a very large tank for my fancies, i share a house so, only realistically have room for a tank of the above metioned size. (tropical beginer i wouldnt want to bite of more than i can chew) This will be my first attemp at keeping live plants also

dont get me wrong the fish andthier well being are always going to be my priority. my other fish are about 5 years old now, and are very very important to me.

kind regards darren

Maidenhead aquatics @ Northampton had some the other day.

Cheers Disco, much appreciated, you wouldnt happen to be able to remember how much they were selling them for?

thanks again Darren
