Triops Need Help Last Time

ok ive got some leaves put them in a jar with rain water and left for 7 hours dried and put little bits of them in my tank then i emptyed the egg pack into my tank and put 2liter of distilled water in and put next to my fish tank for light ive i dun this right will they hatch?

The fish light won't work... you need to put a 60-100 Watt light bulb over it to hatch them.

As long as the triops tank is bright, they will hatch. Usually takes longer with lower light though .
TBH I'm still not sure 7 hours in the sun is long enough for infusoria....especially not when starting with 2 litres. I always recommend to hatch out in <1 litre.

But your fish tank light on during the night? You know that's bad for your fish?

gr8 ill use the lamp during nite to then for 1 hour use the fish light so the lamp does not explode that kk?

Sounds ok, but why do you think the lamp will explode? I've had cheap lights from ikea on 24 hours 3 days + no problem .
