Trigon 190

Hey all,

I am planning to get a Trigon 190 after christmas, so i am doing my research at the mo.

My main question is about filters, i want to get an external and have been reading alot about them on here. I have decided to go with Eheim, but im stuck between

Eheim 2224 LIMITED EDITION WITH MEDIA - £80

or

Eheim 2227 Wet / Dry - £120

Obviously the 2227 is more expensive and does not come with media, but i dont mind spending the extra if it is good. I am planning on taking the internal that the tank comes with out, is this a good idea?

I am making a shopping list at the mo, so if people could advise me on good heaters, quiet air pumps etc, that would be great!

I have the 2224 Limited Ed. and it's fabulous - I can't praise it enough.
But if you're looking for an alternative, I'd suggest you look at the new Prof II range and not the 2227.

Get yourself a Visitherm 250 or 300 Watt heater to go with it.

Living Seas have awesome prices and you'd have to look far to get better prices. I "think" you get a further discount if you mention the ad in the PKF mag
