I tried out some lens filters I have for my camera that I usually use for outdoor shooting but I wanted to see what they'd do for my fish photo's.
One thing for sure using an ISO400 setting didn't give me the result I wanted but I think I finally got the color saturation I was shooting for after seeing FreshMike's pics.

Great Pictures wanna come over to my house and take some?
Not bragging. Trying to get perfection in my photo's. I'm not statisfied yet. When I hit FM clarity and saturation I'll be somewhat satisfied.

However thanks for the compliment.....kinda lifts up my day.

That first one is completely amazing. The contrast of the purple and orange is gorgeous.

Just to make it official, I'll second the FOTM for the first pic.

Nice fish too, btw!
Thanks. Though in a week or so you guys will be sick to death of seeing pictures of the new tank.

I added one more tank picture. I'm trying to get a decent picture of the bala's or neon/cardinals but those little buggers like to move around too much I can't get a good focus.

Your Gouramie could be the twin to mine. What sex is that and how do you tell that particular breed apart?

I need to get mine a mate so he/she won't hide so much and be so damned aggressive.

far as I know you still sex them like normal gouramis. Even in the dwarf vareities you'll find the dorsal fin will have either a pointed or rounded shape. I believe I have 2 females though it was a little hard to tell since one had a chunk out of it's dorsal fin.
