Treating Your Fishy Friend

What kind of food do you give your fish as a treat? my comunity tank go crazy for all sorts like cooked chicken, squashed peas and bread.....also the freeze dried worm is a favorite
Has anyone got any other ideas,
Also is it safe to try and get them to eat out your hand or could they catch somthing lol?

fried chicken? never heard of that before lol. Ive heard of some people making fish eat out of there hand but i think it depends on what fish you have.

yeah my fish eat out of my hand tho i dont make them i just offer and they decyde if they take it or wit till i drop it

As a treat all of my fish love prawns.

I always thought it was bad to feed chicken ect. to most fish because animal proteinds are bad for them.

my baby angels are really tame they follow hands on the outside of the tank and also faces if they're close enough to see, they all swarm to the feeding corner when they know someones walked in to feed them , they'll try taste your finger aswell as the food if you hold it in the tank, always make sure your hands are well washed and soap free first though or you could poison them

with the chickin i read in a book and on internet that it is fine as a treat in small quantitys and adds protine to the diet
