Treating Wood For Tank

Better safe than sorry for sure and took a quick pick of it earlier I'll take more once its all settled down and everything's put where I want

Well this morning I've come down to a slightly stained tank but expected as I now have wood in there now.

Just not sure on how to have the root as its a pain as the size of it.

It's touching both sides of the tank as its so wide.

But on the plus side my gourami female has instantly lost her dominance and happily let's her sister sw around the whole tank now instead of backing her into the corner.

My rainbow and CAE are loving the wood

I did warn you that it would leech tannins. Otherwise it's beautiful wood.
 
Yea I know I used to have loads of wood in my old tank and it leaked tannis like crazy.

I like the look of it just got to add more plants and more fish as it looks really empty
 
i agree with adding more plants, sometimes adding things really brings out the negative space, but the wood looks really great!!
