Fish Fanatic
Just a question for you more experienced molly/platy keepers out there. Let's say you've been keeping a combination of two mollys and two platys, one male and the rest female, with two cories for almost a month, water changes and feedings kept at a normal schedule.
One day you happen to investigate why the fish are swimming in kind of exaggerated movements but not moving very far and find that your females have white speckles all over them with mild fin degrade on their tails, the male absolutely infested with both that and fungus, and the cories as yet unaffected? Could it be possible that these symptoms can happen in a low-temp but clean tank? I know you can't really have aquarium salt in the tank to reduce the bacterium and ick risk in a molly tank because most of the pet store species can't tolerate brakish water.
My other three tanks have aquarium salt in them but if I was to say maintain a molly tank and these three diseases attacked at once, what medicine, or combination of medicines, would be best to use to fight all three?
