Treating Driftwood?

I just got some driftwood but it doesn't fit in a pot so I can't really boil it. What do I do?

The bigger parts of mine have been placed in the kitchen sink with boiling water poured over them then left to it in hot water for a while. I did one yesterday and it worked a treat.

I put mine in the dishwasher a couple of times....no salt or detergent though. Worked a treat.

Hello DayMine,

My bogwood is giant size, so I soaked it in the bath with several changes of hot water (no chemicals of course) of a week period. It did the trick nicely.
