Transporting Snails In Post

I need a way to send snails in the post without them getting destroyed!

Something I may have in the household/readily available in the supermarket would be good - thanks

i used a bit of 1" plastic piping from b&Q cut off about 2-3" stuck wet filter floss in seloptaped over then end and stuck in a jiffy bag
that way they cant get squished in the post
