Total Betta Tank Revamp- Natural Tank

Thanks! I'm not even close to being done in my head yet though, haha. But I'm really satisfied with how it currently looks. Everything's growing very well, and the fish are healthy, which is all you can ask for. :)

Also Platygirl, if you're going to do a rework, I highly suggest painting the back of your aquarium. I couldn't believe how much of a difference it made! Sooo much better, my filter is pretty large so it was fantastic that it blended so perfectly with the back, not to mention the heater is hardly visible and I didn't even have to hide it. :D

What size tank is that? New setup looks nice.

Haha, just did a little more scaping.. accidentally broke part of the pot off so the cave it creates is smaller, unfortunately. I think Oliver will still fit in ok (he was taking a liking to it) But no matter. Made a nice slope coming from the pot-cave up that makes it more visually interesting. Pictures soon-ish.

This is just a 5 gallon tank. Thanks for the compliment. :)

Thanks Bagu. :)

My accidental pot break failure with a cory catfish to compare size

Sorry the pics aren't perfect, took them with my iPhone.

ETA:

And now I found a nice pot that I broke up and worked into the scape so there's more then one hiding place. My poor fish are probably pissed I keep adjusting things, haha. Pics soon.

I love your tank well done :hyper: :good:

I definately prefer the natural look myself, working on my tank at the mo and i can honistly say a black backround makes one hell of a difference

one small suggestion. top up your tank...will make it look "complete" to me...buti realize you may have had your hands all in the tank still. but when your done with this round, top it up and wipe down the outside glass to get rid of any waterspots.. itll be sick (its already awesome! i do love the black background.

I would love to top it off but I can't.. :( The filter would be completely submerged if I did. Yeah I need to clean up the glass, so much going in and out has given it so many water spots!

It does look fabulous, Morphkid03, as does Oliver and the gang.
The problem now will be, of course, to drag yourself away from fish watching long enough to do anything else, but I guess that always is the problem, isn't it?
