I usually start singing Eurythmics' "Sweet Dreams" when I feed my fish, but that doesn't have anything to do with bettas... that's just my love of the 80s coming out
I guess maybe the "everybody is lookin' for something" part of the song applies, since they're all looking for their beloved food

made me think of ALL my betta girlies except Liza who's teeny.
