Top Dwellers?

This size of tanks is a 90 litre tank, and has more height than length. Not sure what size this is terms of US sizes.
The types of Barbs/Tetras I have are 1 Striped Barb, 2 Colombian Tetras, 2 Serpae Tetras, 4 Rummy Nose Tetras, 1 Cummings Barb, and 1 Pleco.

They all get along very well (except one Colombian bullies the other). Was thinking of maybe 3 or 4 Danios to bring life to the top of the tank.

I have a small school of Zebra Danio's that swim around with the flow of the water and dart about about the top. I love them and they are great to watch because they are quite active.

tbh I would give some thought to the fish you have first. 1 Striped Barb, 2 Colombian Tetras, 2 Serpae Tetras, 4 Rummy Nose Tetras, 1 Cummings Barb, and 1 Pleco- you have a number of schooling fish here, and none of them in a large enough school. This is stressful for the fish and should be avoided. Danios are also schooling fish and should be kept in numbers larger than 3 or 4- 6 is usually considered the minimum. the reason for this is that danios are very keen on establishing hierarchies- if there are too few, the inferior fish will end up being beaten up all the time, and they may also start nipping other fish. I would think you might get similar problems with the serpas. It is difficult to know how much stocking space you have as we do not know the length and width of the tank. But if you have any, it should go on building up the schools you already have.

You may also get problems with overstocking if your plec is a common pleco. Even if he is only a bristlenose, they do produce a lot of waste.

if you get butterfly fish they also have habbit of jumping! my man friend has about four they are very nice fish but can also be quite tricky to care for. he also has a apollo shark this hangs near the top but can also be quite territorial. im thinkin indian four eyes are also top dwellers!

My lfs has these butterfly fish, they are very fascinating. Will they eat tetras though? I would like to have small fish in my aquarium, ranging from tetras to dwarf gouramis. Also do butterfly fish like to be single or paired or in schools?
