too much?

i have a Whisper Advanced Power Filter 5-15 and i have one of those cheap things with a cartridge in it and you put the airline in it and it supposedly filters the water..in a ten gallon...is this too much filtration??

I don't believe that you can ever have too much filtration.....I run all my tanks on double the filtration needed to effectively filter them.

NO such thing as to much filtration. When that whisper dies get youself an aquaclear filter by Hagen. The whisper doesn't allow for bacteria growth and those cartriges are exspensive. With an aqua clear you can make your own media bags with anything you want or need . You can add Lava rock, ceramic cylinders, bio chem stars ect in a bag for the growth and place to live for benificial bacteria. Also the foam blocks can be rinsed in tank water (in bucket) and reused for a long time.

well not realy filtration...i guess i meant movement...sry
