Take a snapshot of your boss's computer desktop.  Then remove all the icons off the desktop.  Next turn the snapshot into Wallpaper and load that.  She will be wondering why she can't click on anything.

Once we swapped the keyboard connections on two people whose desks were back to back whilst they were out at lunch - when they came back they were puzzled why there keyboards firstly wouldn't work, and then strange things started happening on their screens without them typing anything on 'their' keyboard
 
OP - April Fools Day is on Monday which I think is a bank holiday in NI, yes? So you wouldn't be around at work to see the effects anyway?

My boss is a big facebook fan, she posts everything. I have no doubt that if all goes ahead I will hear about it one way or another. As for messing with office equipment, that would involve breaking into her home which is a bit harse for an april fool.

Just means I get this weeks pay at the end of next week, so I'm always a week behind in pay. Not 100% sure why they do it.

Ahhhh...they do that here sometimes.  They hold back a week or two depending on pay schedule.  But on the bright side... when you are done employment with them.. you have another paycheck coming!

Is there any rule to say I can't wait till next april to reveal myself. I reckon I'll get away with it for now, the only people who know about it are me, the wife and the 147 members who have viewed this thread. Off til Wednesday anyway, plenty of time for her to calm down.
