Too Much Too Soon?

First if all I'd like to say congratulations to me for finally getting a job. I've been working with the company for a week and my boss is a laugh and slightly immature like myself. Knowing that April fools day is approaching I'm thinking I could put her lorry up for sale on gumtree along with a very low pricetag and her phone number. My wife reckons this could be a mistake but considering she refuses to feed my fish now that I'm working, I'm refusing to heed her advice.

I can hear "bad idea" screaming at me. If you were old friends and had been working there for a good long time it might be funny, but it seems a bit risky to me.

Just a routine thing. When I wasn't working I was dosing ferts at 10am and feeding my fish at 12pm.



It can only really go 2 ways.

1. She thinks it's hilarious, we all have a good laugh and she gives me a payrise for my ingenuity.

2. She hits the roof and threatens to castrate the culprit.

The beauty of the plan is I can see how she reacts before I reveal myself, simples...

Hmm, would any form of emasculation be worth a giggle? I'm reckoning nothing will lead to a pay rise so soon in your employment but why not do a wind up phone all or something?

Take a snapshot of your boss's computer desktop.  Then remove all the icons off the desktop.  Next turn the snapshot into Wallpaper and load that.  She will be wondering why she can't click on anything.

Once we swapped the keyboard connections on two people whose desks were back to back whilst they were out at lunch - when they came back they were puzzled why there keyboards firstly wouldn't work, and then strange things started happening on their screens without them typing anything on 'their' keyboard
 
OP - April Fools Day is on Monday which I think is a bank holiday in NI, yes? So you wouldn't be around at work to see the effects anyway?

I did this with my boss once, with an error message whereby you had to click OK.  When my boss came back to his desk and said his PC was not working, I said go get me a cuppa and I'll take a look.  Needless to say it got fixed and I got a cuppa

Did this one too, the person concerned password would not work, so once again sent the person to get a cuppa while we looked at it
 
Now don't get me started on these ...
 
Another one is tying a cable tie around the phone wire between the phone and the unit, then when the phone rings, the whole thing comes off the desk when they pick up the receiver.  Of course these days most phones do not have the cable, but some offices still do.
 
Another one is putting sellotape over the mouth piece of the phone so that when someone calls them, the caller will say they cannot hear them and will they speak up, then they just get louder!  Of course you can also do this with the ear piece instead.

LOL!  Great ideas!   Take some oreo cookies and scrape out the filling... replace it with toothpaste.  
 
Superglue some coins on the ground and see how many people struggle to pick them up. 
 
Take some magnets and glue them to the bottom of a cup.. stick it on someone's car as they are leaving.

Chances of me being able to scrape out an oreo without muching the lot are very slim. I've only just finished my lying week so don't have many coins to superglue.
