Too much Almond leaves in my tank?

Yah, sadly thats the case with the API kit... But to know what you need to do, its best to spend a but of money on it. My KH is at a 14... (Really really really high) and my ph is 8.1... So there is no changing my PH. But for you, 7.8 is fine for a lot of soft water fish like bettas. There are a few on this forum who say my PH is very unhealthy but I get about 30-50 fry from my fish weekly so it cant be that bad.... If I were you I would not even bat an eye to your PH... But your ammonia needs to go to 0
I thought your fry were dying. Which could be because of your high pH. Just, something for you to think about.

No. They only die when it's dark. There is a predator in the tank... I also witnessed while the lights were out, the female hunting and eating the fry. Problem solved. I moved them to the QT tank and no deaths now. Also have a heater in the QT tank as well... Finally

Good job, pleased about the heater, so you have one hundred fry now in the 10 gallon

Id say 50-60 because the newest batch I didnt get out of the main tank. I kept losing fry due to temperature shock by going from warm waters to cold as well so that took a toll on them. (Either way they would have died so I just moved them to the QT tank hoping they would ve hardy enough for that. (There were probably a good 15 from the most recent batch that didnt survive the temperature shift). Now that I have the heater, the fry are way more active and it should be easier to move the fry in without them dying off.

Because so few of us have had experience with these guys you should set up a thread about the fry and raising them.

Definitely will when I have the time for it! Thanks for the reccomendation! I may keep a google doc to work on and them when I feel like I'm done with it, I will copy paste it.

I have definitely seen that information on the species and fry of the species is very sparse anyplace I've checked...
