If you look for long enough at my 64L tank, you'll soon see that there is an awful lot of fry in there!
I think I have 4 fry siphoned up from my biOrb, and they could be platies or swords, and my blue platy has also just dropped some fry, which are smaller and shimmer a nice blue colour in the light :)
Trouble is, the 2 adult platies in there don't seem to be eating any, and I really don't want all these fish!
My question is, what do I do with them?!
I really have no idea how to get rid of these guys, since, unfortunately, I can't look after them all. Can anyone suggest how I can get them to a good home?
Thank you! :)

Your lfs may take them, unfortunately you are experiencing the downside of keeping male and female livebearers. Unless you kep the males in one tank and females in another you'll continue to have batches of fry frequently.

I only have females, yet I know that they can store sperm so I can probably expect more fry. Luckily though, I intend to get a male betta, which I hope will keep the levels down!

Offer them out in the classified section. Someone might take them off you're hands.

I'll look into it, thank you :)

Ah, that'll teach me to make assumptions!

when there a little bigger offer them on here and on places like aquariss classified/gumtree etc :good:
