Stocking doesn't look to bad although a severum (or other larger cichlid) would most likely bully the Rams,

The only problem i see is that you will have a 2 foot tall tank with no fish in the top 12inches ? (unless you go for a Severum of something like a pair of keyholes, which IME spend quite a bit of time in the top half

Depending on the Tetras, A Blue Acara (Aequidens pulcher)

could i remove the neons and get tiger barbs :good:

black skirts or white skirts. pretty good sized tetra. :D

Also, what do you feed your fish? Floating pieces or pellets that sink?

If you are looking for tetras to school at the top part of your tank, Penguin Tetras will do that. I bought some last week for my Discus tank, they certainly stay at the top, first thing in the morning they are tight together as a group, during the day they spread out a bit but do stay pretty close together.

At the bottom I have some very pretty Glolite Tetras and Neons, they tend to hover around the bottom half of the tank.

Palue

i would feed them algae wafers bloodworm and brine shrimp
anythin else i would need sunch as veg or somethin?
ok so
4 clown loaches
6 3 lined corys
2 german blue rams
10 black skirts tetra or somethin else that size
2 bristle nose pleco
angels or discus mayb or is tht fully stocked if not how much more?

Your stocking sounds about right but be warned that the clown loaches will need a 150cm tank minimum by the time they are fully grown. Three of four angels would be suitable.

yea i no the clown get big but they grow slowly and by then i mite hav upgraded
i no this mucks up everythin but i need to put my old fish from my 60 litre into the 300 litre
so already i hav
2 clown loaches
8 neon tetra
4 black neon
4 harlequin rasbora
2 tiger barbs
4 platies
i could take some of them back to the shop or get rid of them to friends
so wat r the options now?

The loaches will be fine if you plan to upgrade in the future and instead of adding new species of tetra to your new tank I would add more of the species you already have, as these fish ideally need to be in groups of at least six, the same applies to the rasboras. Tiger barbs have an underserved reputation as a fin-nipper but the problem is caused by keeping them singly or in pairs or with fish with long fins, ideally they should be kept in groups of around eight.

ok so keep the tetra nd rasbora
no tiger barbs
platies?

kl so all is gd wiv
4 clown loaches

6/8 black neon
6/8 harlequin rasbora
