Too bright pictures

Right the camera is a fuji film mx - 1200 1.3 m pixels

The tank is lit by 2x fluros and by 1x marine blue by night

When its day the picture is blurred over emphesised orange and by the night light its green blurr i have tried changing flash settings but to no effect, having said that i got one really good one of shrimp but i dont know how......

Any ideas ?

I use a FUJI finepix 2800 zoom

I find the best settings is...

1. Turn of the flash
2. Manual focus
3. Use a tripod/steady hand
4. Dark room/only use fish lights (no light bounce)

Ah thanks ill try that later, i have been putting all the room light on to try to balance the light, ill let you know tomorrow if any better
