the juwel compact filter.
it seems to me that most of the water going through the filter enters at the top slits and exits the filter near the top as well.
the filter has been designed by experts but im a great beliver that the water in a filter should enter at the bottom and exit at the top or the other way round to create movement in the water column and not just water movent going around and around.
i am thinking of making a tube or box that would fit on to the side of the filter guideing the water from the bottom of the tank up to the intake slits allowing the filter only to take water from the bottom of the water column.
am i just mad or is this a good idea?
