Hi all,
I apologise as this is a bit of a nube question (and it's in 2 parts). I recently squired (second hand)an AquaOne 620T which has some fancy top mounted filter. Trouble is, the pump has decided to stop working, which is great. so, here are my questions:
1, The pump is calleda powerhead 300. Has anyone ever managed to take one of these things apart? I want to try to fix it as I cant afford to buy new after spending money on the tank, but I cant seem to get into the thing!![/ :/ :/](/images/smilies/ipb/confused.gif)
2, When the pump is running, the water falls back into the tank, causing bubbles. Do I need bubbles in my water? (sorry, told you it was a nube question). The reason I ask is because I've got a spare filter bit it uses sponges and just sucks the water in and blows it out, no falling water therefore no bubbles.
I should also add, there are no live plants and no fish in there at the moment. If I need the bubbles, I cant use the spare and will have to wait until I can afford a new one.
Thanks in advance.
