Yeah the yellow watchman goby is very cute - I think the relationship of a goby shrimp pair is cool but in a reef tank I wouln't get the pair - they make tunnels under your lr and can make things a little unstable  - just have a read of BigCs thread to see what I mean

Seem to remember jennybug having a very cute green goby, can't remember, but it might be a clown goby, but sure looked the business :good: have a look at her thread in the journel section :good:

They are lovely fish but I don't think they live for very long 2 to 3 years max.

Sorry don't normally copy and paste but thought you might find this interesting

In the wild, parasites picked off larger reef fish make up a portion of the Neon Blue Goby's natural diet. However, in the home aquarium, the Neon Blue Goby needs to be fed a variety of live and frozen brine shrimp, frozen mysis shrimp, table shrimp, and frozen food preparations for carnivores. If kept in a reef aquarium, the Neon Blue Goby should be fed once per day.

Hi everyone

Still on the lookout for a goby. Here's a photo of the tank so far, anemone on the left was a bit of an impulse buy, it seems to be doing okay but when I did a water change it decided to sulk for a couple of hrs, do you know if this is normal.

Dill :hyper:

Never, never impulse buy - it's a long slippery road which usually ends in a car crash!

An anemone is not suitable for a tank which is under six months to a year old  and you have to have very good lighting

Are you able to return the poor thing?
