I don't get it. :dunno: There is a phone commercial where it seems the main selling point is that it is made with titanium. Why would anyone care? Whether the titanium is just trim or even the frame it is not going to make a phone work better. Ya, titanium is strong but I've machined the stuff and it is actually a gummy metal as metals go and unless made as an alloy, with such as iron, aluminum, vanadium, or molybdenum, is fairly easy to dent due to its low density. I mean it isn't going to stop a screen from cracking if dropped...

Am I missing something? :dunno:

My aluminum iphone 12 is fine for me. I put a clear case over it anyways to protect the back glass and screen. If I had a titanium phone, I would also have a clear case over it so I see no benefit for a titanium phone other than it being just a bit lighter.

LOL! I don't even carry a cell phone but the referred commercial just struck me as really dumber than most. Actually I've seen some commercials that were actually pretty cool or cute but... wait... what was it about? I normally detest commercials which is a large part of the reason that I have streaming services so I can watch shows without ads. Still there are some that I like but have no clue what was actually the product.

Which streaming services do you have? Other than free streaming services like pluto, crackle and tubi, I presently subscribe to Paramount plus with Showtime … no ads. I got a recent deal for 3.99 a month for 3 months after which the price goes up to 11.99 a month. Deal is still available but ends on dec 3rd.
I also use antenna for 40 channels. This Sunday there are 3 excellent football games. Sunday night is Eagles- 49ers game… really looking forward to that one. Packers-Chiefs game at 1 pm. At 4pm is Pats-Chargers game. Zappe may start for the Pats.

Well, let's see... I used to have Netflix and Disney Plus until they ticked me off a while back. Right now I have HBO Max, Peacock, Paramount Plus and Amazon Prime. I also subscribe to MLB.TV but only for Cleveland as it is cheaper to stream one team than all and Cleveland is the only team I want to watch anyway.

There are also quite a few free streams I get through my 55 inch LG HDTV but I don't know all the names. Actually the LG free channels has quite a bit but I THINK you can only get it if you have an LG set. I also get quite a bit on my 43 inch Samsung but haven't really played there much as that is my normal computer screen.

LOL! I guess we just went WAY off topic but I started the thread and you are staff so we probably won't get yelled at too much... ;) At night, with just accent lights, this is my screen view from my couch where I have a wireless mouse/keyboard for the mostly computer screen on the left.
