Hey, I've seen some pics of a guys aquascaping in really small tanks on another forum, don't want topost the link because I believe that's against the rules....

so i've gone to view image, found his photobucket account, and since without logging in to photobucket, he's allowing people to share the images, I guess I should be ok to post them here (at least a couple)

now as if that doesn't look cool enough...

how impressive is it now?

has anyone here done anything like this?
and i'm guessing you wouldn't be able to find a suitable fish for the tank... but the problem I've run into looking at these, is you can't find the tanks anywhere,

what do you think?

EDIT: if you want to check out more then this photobucket album is http://s132.photobucket.com/albums/q23/diegote_photo/GAP/

That one is 14cm x 7cm x 5cm, which registers as zero litres on this sites calculator, but it's just under 0.5 litres.

Big enough for a single tetra??? probably not.

thinking about it,

I'd love to see a 100G using a similar scale to this, it would look like an ocean! then stocked with large shoals of tiny fish... That would look ace. with 50 neon tetras, 20 harlequins, 5 banjo catfish and something "big" like a few silver dollars...

wow, now thats impressive!

I just showed my gf and she asked why all my tanks couldnt be that small  , she said i could have as many as i want if they were that size :shifty:

really cool

you'd have to have an external filter and heater using tiny tiny tubes to be able to keep any fish in it...

I've ordered a small "betta box" (you know, the ones that are far too small to keep a betta in) which is 12cm by 12cm by 13cm high (it has a built in led light with batteries in the base thats why it's higher than the width n depth) just to see what I could do on a really small scale...

might break a really tiny piece off my bogwood and use it in there as a log... or use a few small pebbles or stones and try a mini iwagumi...

(and yes I do know the little built in LED won't be enough light for a planted tank)

my rio 400 would be cool for this but i dont wanna do it lol

The tank looks almost like a farero rochiet box I have a load that I stash stuff in and if my hand is a similar size then its bang for dimensions
