Tiny snails

Likely came in on a plant. I would remove it. It has a tendency to take over a tank.
Unless of course you like floating plants... These guys are hardy and easy to grow. And it helps "filter" the water.
If you remove it, you may not get it all and it will come back.

I had duckweed arrive in my tank unseen on a plant. It attempted a take over and it took me hours to get rid of it involving 2 buckets of dechlorinated water, washing all the floating plants I wanted to keep in the first bucket then the second. I still found plants in the tanks for a few weeks and removed them as I spotted them. I've not seen any for a few weeks now 🤞

It gets stuck in plants, clogs filters, and makes a huge mess. When you want to get rid of it, you cant.
Clogs filters? Really?? I don't see how unless you don't have a sponge over the intake

I've had pest snails in my tank from about the first month of setting it up they came in on a plant, they don't seem to cause any problems what so ever they don't seem to be multiplying rapidly either I remove a few here and there during a water changes normally drop them into my fry tanks 🤷‍♂️
