Tiny snails

My tank which is about 8 weeks old (being setup as a spare tank)

Seems to have lots of baby snails popping up everywhere
I noticed a tiny one several weeks ago and never thought much of it,

However I’m guessing they are breeding as I’ve just realised there now everwhere.

It wouldn’t really bother me but it seems they are chewing my plants..

I feel bad killing them..
Do fish eat them?

Very few fish eat snails

Likely pest snails. They will fill your tank...

pufferfish will eat snails and everything else in the tank.

if they are pest snails, take them out and squish em.

This is prob the biggest one. They are everywhere

Those are the tiny species of ramshorn, they come in on plants. I've had those snails in my yanks for as long as I can remember. And the pest snails referred to as pond/tadpole/bladder snails. But I rarely see them in my tanks, I have to go looking for them. It's not because fish are eating them as there would be empty shells on the bottom of the tank; it's because I don't over feed my fish. Think about how much you are feeding the fish - is it too much?

There’s only 2 small bristle nose in this tank.
I feed them a tiny pinch each day.

The more I look there much be over 100 tiny snails floating or stuck to something

Those guys won't eat plants so if your plants are dying its not from them.

Really? Ramshorns will? I always thought they just stuck to leftover food or algae

All snails will eat decaying plant matter; most snails won't harm live, healthy plants, though they will forage the surface of them for tasty bits

There’s also little tiny leafs floating around with the now hundreds of snails?
