Time-laps Footage

Tanks that is brilliant, no suprise that you have done it so well.

I was however dissapointed at the lack of David Attenborough Commentry and Planet Earth style "making of".

awesome vid played it 5 times for the hell of it.
i'm now off home to see if my digicam has timelapse and i'll make a planted tank one.

great idea well done and thanks for sharing

with a planted tank, could you not just do it a couple of times every day with a normal camera on a tripod or would you just do it every hour or somthing, Still great video and i must say you have lighted a few ideas in people great vid,

Thanks everyone for your nice comments. Hopefully I can hold onto the camera for a bit longer and maybe try something else. You should be able able to get the same effect using normal still pictures, but the problem would be not moving the camera from the position the first photo is taken from. If you are trying to capture plant growth this might be a problem as it will mean you have to have a camera in a single spot for a very long time. Alternatively you could mark where the camera was and just reposition it everyday but movement of the camera would be visible in the pics. But sure give it a try and see how you get on. I might try it myself with my excuse of a planted tank.

On a similar note: Not Fish Related. I set up the camera this morning to take a time laps of Dublin bay. Not bad results but the camera dies before the light of dublin turned on!

Even more time laps

Regards
