time for a rant

i had to go for a check up at the hospital today coz i have a minor curve thingo in my spine and there was a fish tank there. i'm guessing it probably wasnt much more than 10-15 gallons and this is what it had in it.
two fairly large rainbow fish of some sort (probably about 8cm each)
one fat neon tetra
about 3 very fat harlequin rasboras
a few glolight tetras (one of which was swimming in a vertical position. it didnt look too happy)
and...wait for it...around 20-30 bristle nose plecos. . most of them were about 5cm and under but at least 6 or 7 of them were over 10cm.
it was crazy! i cant get over how stupid some people are!

Perhaps those bristlenose bred and those are all babies.... And maybe they just don't have any place for them yet. Who knows.

There are so many things wrong with that tank I don't even know where to start! Just awful.

It's funny, because all the fish tanks I've ever seen in doctors and dentists offices have been damn nice. Usually very obvious that they have an aquarium service.

i think julies right, They probably breed in there and they dont have the time to take them anywhere.
