I got a female tiger shrimp carrying egg died yesterday, I read somewhere even the female died, the eggs still could be saved. Then I just took out all the eggs that female carrying and put them into a net floating on the same shrimp tank. Do you think the eggs could hatch that way? I found the female body not long she died... Any idea?

If the eggs have a good flow of oxygenated water over them they can hatch. I have never done this, but if they stay clean and have enough oxygen they could hatch. Good luck with them

I agree. This is why you will see the female constantly juggling the eggs around with her legs... to make sure they all get proper water circulation and oxygenization.

Do you have any idea why the mother died?

The mother was a newly bought shrimp, after a day in the tank i changed water. Stress up and the quite change in temperature could be the reason of the death.

The eggs do not look well even through I am leaving them at the position where good flow of water... :(

Hey guys, guess what, some of the eggs hatched... :)

This really works....
