I have a Juwel Rekord 600 its about 63 litres and i really like look of tiger barbs soo im thinking of getting a school them but the only problem is i have 6 sterbai corys which are lovely but i heard that the tiger barbs can nip at my other fish =(

try some pentazona barbs instead they are becoming more popular and aren't nippy at all loads of shops have started selling them

I know generally they can be nippy, but ive had 8 for nearly a year, and becaude of the shoal size, they only scrap with each other and leave the rest of the community alone.

On other barbs, Odessa's are pretty cool too!

they should leave your corys alone. as previously stated if you have a large enough group you shouldnt have a problem. any nipping is usually more with slow moving long finned fish . ive got a group of 10 in my tank and find they add real character and life to the tank.

I went ahead and got the tiger barbs ive only just put them in atm there fine they are playing with my corys =)
