Good question, I have absolutely no idea. Seeing as how she's got quite a few other tanks running and seems to be well experienced, I'd say she's pretty set regarding filtration. She always goes through a bit of a panic when stocking though LOL hence the request for suggestions. I do believe this is the first time she's working on a semi-aggressive tank though. She's done the molly/guppy route and also the Oscar/Jack Dempsey route, but not quite in between.

Just make sure to let your friend know that filtration and WC are the key elements to keep a highly stocked tank running. Along with making sure its properly decorated to allow hiding places and territories fir the occupants. If he/she is an experienced keeper, it will work out fine.
