At the moment i have six tiger barbs in my tank, they have been in there about a week or so. Today one of them has been a little aggressive to his buddies, constantly chasing them around all the time. I'm worried hes going to slowly kill all the others off.
What should i do?
Put him in quarantine?

Please help me with some advice! :)

It should be okay :good:

You've only had them a week or so, they are just developing a pecking order and it sounds like he is going to be the dominant one, as long as there are enough to spread the aggresion it should be fine.

How big is your tank. Ideally you need a minimum of a 24" long tank, ideally 36" to keep tiger barbs as they are very active fish. They are also happier in a very busy tank with lots of planting, rocks, wood and other bits so they can establish terratories and pecking order. They are much better in bigger groups as they tend then to bug each other then rather than pick on one or two other fish in your tank 8+ ideally. Avoid putting them with any long finned species, guppies particularly or any other species described as "peaceful community fish." That said they are great little fish as long as you are prepared to put the effort in.
