Tiger Barb Mates?

My tank is full now I don't want to push it putting any angels in there. Especially with kribs in there now. I have 6 tiger barbs and 6 gold barbs and 2 kribs. With it being a tall tank don't think I can or should put anything more in there. If it was a normal 45 and not a tall tank I would be able to put more fish in there, but not with the surface area. Looking good now with all the barbs swimming around. The female krib sometimes chases them away if they are buy her coconut cave. The are nice to watch. Only problem is that I think I need a different male, female took over WHOLE tank as her territory, he stays at top by heater and filter tube. But other than that everything ok. Nice to get my fish tanks stocked again and doing regular maintenace with them, which I wasn't before since November with my mom ill and her passing away on April 6, now the tanks are keeping me busy.

Hi I have 7 tigar barbs (read some were that you need atleast 6 and they pretty much leave the other fish alone) thats the case with me mine don,t mess with my silver dollars,gouramis, clown loaches etc. u mite can try 6 and see if its works for you.

I think you already have too much in your tank. Especially since golden barbs can grow quite long (3inches) and tiger barbs to 2 inches....
