I'm a bit confused. I've heard that fry tanks should not have gravel in them and should be as bare as possible, yet I also know that most of the good bacteria in tanks, live in the gravel. How then can a fry tank work properly?
I think about fish far too much   :hyper: :hyper: :hyper: :hyper: :hyper:

The reason for having a bare tank is simply for ease of cleaning, and excess food can easily and quickly be syphoned out daily. This keeps water quality high, and so the bacteria is doing less work anyway, plus the filter holds ALOT of the 'good' bacteria.
