This Scares Me!

some silver thing

Ah yes, that would be the, er, Botswana blood-sucking mitral fish, infamous for it's trait of being not gold, not blue not red but, er, silver. Yes that's the one, I have ten myself. Marvellous things...very, er, silver, hmmm.

Dieses, speaking of Americans. Part of my family emigrated back in the 60's, really should pay them a visit again. That way I can correct Americans poor use of English in person rather than on the internet! lol
I are quite happy wit da way I talk, thank you very much :p

Silly me! There is no need for this thread at all, Arent they better known as the Botswanan peace keeping fish? Those Malawis and Goldfish must get on like the Waltons!

If only everyone had the effort like us to actually research before they buy :(
Exactly! The day I decided to get my first betta, I spent 24hrs researching everything there was to know, and 2 weeks preparing everything and finding the right fish!

Yeah and the last time I went to the chippy I spent at least 5 mins deliberating over cod or haddock, then 2 mins preparing a plate and cutlery. People these days just dont want to put in the effort! lol

(Sorry Dieses, thats a fish and chip shop to you, its a sort of takeaway over here! LOL :good: )

I spent 1-3 hours everyday in the summer for 1 1/2 months before I bought my first aquarium. Unfortunately I never found this site and cycling never came up in my reading :grr:

The horror! :shout:

I was at PetSmart yesterday, lady sold a family one goldfish, two glofish, and a crab for a 10 gallo! Had to leave the store before my head exploded....

I rehomed the 3 adults to a friend of mine, and started from scratch. I have 6 yellow labs and 6 blue zebras now.

Nice, one of my Red Zebra females is holding atm. Nature will have to take its course though as I have no where to put her away from the main tank.
