This Scares Me!

Hi All,

Dont ask me why someone asked the question on a shopping forum but they asked "What fish can go in a Coldwater Fish Tank?"

One of the responses is as follows -

"I have a thermostat on 26 with my gold fish which then allows me to mix tropical with them i have a red tailed shark, some silver thing with long barbs a large pleco a small bristlenose pleco and two Malawi Cichlid and they all live happy in a 120 lt tank.

be careful with the Malawi as i also have one 'Lucifer' that bits 'eats' everything in his path so is now in Solitary. Looking for a new home if anyone wants!!!!"

Yeah I think so, after they'd got over the shock of someone being stupid enough to mix the two of course!

It does make you wonder how many crazy combinations there are out there! And if any of the keepers are members on this site!

Someone has to have an optimistic point of view. I would just hate to think that someone in the world was capable of breeding someone of that mental....caliber?

Unfortunatly it seems so! Oh and its calibre, bloody Americans!

But I think thats part of the problem, they clearly cant see anything wrong and we end up with a chain of poorly informed fish keepers!

Dieses, speaking of Americans. Part of my family emigrated back in the 60's, really should pay them a visit again. That way I can correct Americans poor use of English in person rather than on the internet! lol
