Do you have to use plain oatmeal, or can it have cinnamon or spices in it. Because the oatmeal here on campus isn't plain and I have no way to get to a store for awhile and i need to start culturing microworms for my spawn

I just use a soggy slice of bread and they don't seem to mind if its wholemeal or white
