Fortunately MTS's need a partner to lay eggs, so if there's only one you wont have anymore.

On the contrary... I took ONE (not knowing what it was, but in a *yay snails!* phase so didn't care) and noticed the other day there are tiny ones everywhere.. I read somewhere earlier that they reproduce parthenogenetically.......

Some species in Thiariidae (the family for MTS) are indeed parthenogenic. Most if not all of the species seen commonly in the hobby reproduce that way to my knowledge (all the ones I've seen have been that way, although it was a while ago).
