sorry but a goldfish thats 3 months old is a litle under a inch.

I have raised goldfish fry from when they were about 1-2cm.

i said goldie 3 MONTHS AGO,,not 3 MONTHS OLD

but yeah in nice size tank (which you have provided) they can grow bloody quick!! kind of like a coldwater oscar, maybe not as agresive though!!

I misread it too Goldfish that are 3 months old do get fairly large as in 6 months they can be adults. Ironically coldwater fish seem to mature faster.
