As CFC said, you are soon going to end up with only P's and MAYBE some pieces of other fish....

Depends on ho you define getting along really, I think a chardonay would get along swimmingly with a big cichlid, Lol.

You will soon have some convict heads and spines lying around poluting your tank. If I were you I'd get alot of really small ghost shrimp, at feeder prices ofcourse, maybe just maybe some of them wont get eaten right away and will clean up a bit of the pirahna mess, afte ra certain size pirahnas do stop eating little fish however, wich is nice.

My P's ate everything except for the pleco that fought them...odd as it may seem, a year after I sold my P's, my cichlids killed the pleco....

I kept Pirhana's a couple of years ago and trust me, when the one in your tank gets a bit bigger he will eat everything else in the tank.

I had four to sart off with and at first thy were fine, until they became mature and got territorial!!

The tank wont be big enough either I'm afraid

My Red Belly Pacu looked just like that when he was that size, so i was just wondering.

I have to agree with everyone else on this topic, soon, that tank will be dominated by the P and there isn't anything you can do to prevent it.

He's done a couple of threads and amoungst the piranhas and convicts he's got some irredesant sharks and the tank is 30gals but he is trying to sort things out after mine and some other members advice.

SO - There is a pirhana, irredesent sharks, balas, convicts, and it looks like a pleco in the lower right hand corner, all together in a 30gal tank. I don't think I need to say more.

I just want to point out, that if he did get advice from his LFS (or Wal-Mart, Petco, Petsmart) this is a prime example of how much bad information there is out on the market. I am not holding Benny0505 responsible and I am in no way attacking him, I am just saying that if he was told he'd be fine by them, it just goes to show how little they know, but when is the insanity going to stop.
