This is my african cichlid tank looking for more tankmates!

I dont want to overcrowd my tank like a typical african cichlid tank instead i want them to be limited. I have been keeping these cichlids for 4 months now and am scared that adding new fish will disrupt the aggression balance that exists right now . I want to know what fish will fit in well with my stock.

Dwarf petricola catfish do well with cichlids.

Choosing tank mates depends on tank size and number/species of fish already present. Usually synodontis species get on well with Africans, Synodontis petricola being the most popular and best suited species as they come from the same area and their breeding habits mesh with Africans in an almost parasitic way.
